On January 10, 2019, “Café Amigos of Ecuador” was officially launched in the auditorium of the Ottawa Public Library. This is a cultural club open to all Canadian residents who are interested in learning more about the history, arts and nature of Ecuador. For this first event, the documentary “The Galapagos Affair”, directed by Daniel Geller and Dayna Goldfine, was screened. This cinematographic work tells the story of a murder occurred in the 1930s in the Galapagos Islands and the adventures of a group of Germans, of different origins, who decided to settle in the archipelago to escape from Western society. We want to thank all those who joined us for this very special night!
