The documentary “Tayos” by director Miguel Garzón successfully closed the Latin American Film Festival 2019 (LAFF19) at the Ottawa Art Gallery on the night of April 30th.
During the opening of Irene Cazar’s “Yearning for my childhood” exhibition, Ambassador Diego Stacey donated a batch of books about Ecuador. Dr. Alicia Mayer, Director of UNAM-Gatineau, received the donation.
The inauguration of the pictorial exhibition “Yearning my childhood” by Irene Cazar was a memorable event. This exhibition will remain open in the main hall of the UNAM-Gatineau, 55 Prom. Du Portage, until May 1st.
This week the International Day of Spanish Language and the International Book Day were held at the @uOttawa. During this event a student from a high school in the Ottawa-Gatineau area read selected poetry by the Ecuadorian writer Jorge Enrique Adoum.
