As a new activity of the “Café Amigos de Ecuador”, organized by the Embassy of Ecuador in Canada, on Friday, January 25, the screening of the documentary “Llanganati” by the directors Juan Anhalzer and María Isabel Dávalos took place with good public attendance. . This film is about an expedition to determine the veracity of a map that, supposedly, leads to the site where the gold of the ransom that was paid in exchange for the last Inca Atahualpa was hidden. Before the film screening the Embassy offered geographical and historical details about the country and two students of the Spanish Program of the University of Ottawa made a presentation. Coffee, sandwiches and maps of Ecuador were offered.
